About Krista

Krista is a California girl that loves the sun.  Her parents were always active and inspired her to be as well.  She is a lover of nature, animals, and life.  Krista loves making candles, collecting crystals, playing sound bowls and performing sound baths for others.

Yoga Journey + Background & Experience

Krista recently graduated from her 200-hour yoga teacher training in December 2024.   She absolutely loves what yoga has done for her life and is be grateful to help you on your journey as well.  She used to be the person that said, “I’m not flexible” or “I don’t like stretching” …but now she sees that there is so much more to yoga than the poses.     It’s truly getting to know your inner Self and bringing together the mind, body, and soul.  It’s making peace a priority and allowing yourself to be present in the moment…away from life’s stressors.  Krista also has a certificate in sound healing and loves to play my bowls, chimes and more to sooth the soul.

Yoga Classes with Krista

Krista loves a lively vinyasa class that pushes you mentally and physically while bringing in fun, uplifting energy.  Together we move through challenges, burn through resistance, and arrive at a place of gratitude, comfort, and peace. Whether you’re looking to relieve pain, build strength, or simply feel more at home in your body, she’d love to be a part of your journey.

Fun Facts

  • If Krista were to give her yoga practice one word, what would it be?
Growth…because through this practice we are able to grow both internally and externally.  Recognizing where we need to be challenged and finding the calm in those situations.  Internal growth is achieved through practicing the skill of focusing on the breath and calming down the nervous system when we are in stressful moments, pushing through and recognizing our strength in a challenging pose, and returning to our focus when our mind starts to wander. We grow physically through gaining flexibility and strength as we correctly and safely get into, and hold, a pose.
  • What is Krista’s favorite yoga pose and why?
Krista’s favorite pose is eagle because I love how it stretches the back between the shoulders and it’s fun to balance.
