- A sweet & perfect evening last night with our Grief & Loss Workshop…
- Space was created to land safety – to be held, to be supported alongside challenging emotions…
- Beautiful shares of loss and grief were bravely given along with lessons of grief and ways to cope + receive self compassion and care.
- We learned & remembered that grief and loss is normal and it is ok to feel into it…it is ok to have the smaller & bigger waves of grief…and that it never goes away – and that’s ok.
- This talking piece led into a restorative heart and hip opener to further feel into the heart & love on self + soften in the hips to ease any tension & emotion…for that time.
- Following this was a yoga nidra practice with invitation to energetically invite any lost loved ones alongside for the journey & to connect to all the layers of the body within the koshas while navigating grief and loss.
- Beautiful words from Joanna to conclude up our evening: “Remember grief is a journey. It is normal to grieve forever on – it will shape and shift and there is no need for a goal or conclusion to be done grieving.”
