Maximize Hip & Shoulder Mobility
Date: January 29th, 2022
Time: 6pm-8pm

Does your shoulder tightness make downward dog downright unbearable? Does your hip immobility force you to skip pigeon pose? Not being able to fully ease into a yoga pose because of mobility restrictions is FRUSTRATING! Thankfully, the tools you need to loosen up those joints can probably be found in your closet. This workshop will empower you to improve your shoulder and hip mobility using everyday household items.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

  • Yoga mat
  • Comfortable, non-restrictive clothes

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:

  • Guided instruction through movements that improve your joint flexibility and mobility
  • Divided into 2 segments: shoulder and hip
  • Mobility tools: a PVC pipe to keep and yoga strap to borrow during the workshop
  • A detailed handout covering each movement with access to video demonstrations
  • Opportunity to ask a doctor of physical therapy specific, individualized questions in a Q&A

With your knowledge, the handout, the PVC pipe, and a strap such as a dog leash, you will have all the tools to replicate the movements in this workshop and integrate them into your daily routine. Before long, your newfound mobility will allow you to get more out of your yoga experience.
