About Kristina

Kristina was born and raised in Southern California, where coastal parks and beaches nurtured her love for movement and exploration. Encouraged from a young age to value health and longevity, she carried that passion into adulthood. During college, Kristina deepened her self-awareness and discovered her true calling in wellness. She began her personal practice in early 2018. She only stepped foot into a studio when she moved to the SCV, in 2022. She has maintained her practice since, and is humbled to be guiding others through theirs!

Yoga Journey

Kristina found yoga as a preteen and knew she had entered a new realm where she could be true to herself, her heart. Her lifestyle grew more authentic to her as she moved away and explored life during and after some college in Central California. Her personal practice was pretty similar in routine for about 3 years straight until she was about 7 months pregnant. She enjoyed gentle vinyasa’s from the Hatha lineage. It did continue, however, she adapted to the changes in her body and made sure she remained safe for baby and self. There was a small gap from having her baby on the outside to starting her practice up again. With motherhood, she began to realize the more she lived her yoga, the more she was content and able to function in the new chapter she had just entered. She did something BIG for herself and her child in the beginning of 2023. She embraced life with courage to grow into a peaceful, more present being who she had never imagined. She studied away getting herself a few certifications and still continues to attend local college courses and yoga workshops to stay up on all things new for understanding the functions of different bodies and how yoga evolves.

Background & Experience

Kristina obtains two 200 hour RYT certificates registered with Yoga Alliance. She completed her programs in different locations at the same time during Fall of 2024 to the Summer of 2025. Her mentors, Wendy H. and Michelina P., allowed her to truly feel out her authentic self and experience her yoga and its evolution in such a short time period. Their times together and knowledge shared are so appreciated. Her studies fell under the Hatha, lyengar, Ashtanga and Bhakti lineages, understanding tools and shapes for all bodies to be able to access their yoga, unique to them. As she mentioned before she knew this was her calling from a very young age and took a chance. She wanted to dive deep into HER, so it’s exactly what she did and has been doing since. Kristina began teaching in July of 2025 as a substitute with My Yoga Canyon Country and took over a regular class on schedule early September of 2025. At the beginning of August, she too received a 36 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training certificate registered through Yoga Alliance as continuing education. Her passion for Yin grew even more so after the training and she manifests the practice continues to grow in her future!

Kristina would like for her students to feel the calm and ease within their body’s natural flow of energy, adjusting accordingly, for only they truly know how well the tools feel in their bodies.
