Yoga Wall Teacher Training: Level 1 with Wendy – October 2025
Dates: October 17th, 18th, 19th, 25th, & 26th
Learn how to incorporate a yoga wall into a mat yoga practice with Vayu Yoga Level 1 Yoga-Align Teacher Intensive. This training consists of a 20-hour training intensive plus practice and self-study, to learn how to safely and effectively teach yoga wall classes. Yoga-Align incorporates the Yoga Wall into a mat practice, enhancing alignment, traction and decompression. Yoga-Align sequences will be taught, as well as tips on necessary pre-requisites for the practitioners, based on their body anatomy and converging histories. The goal is to give you the knowledge and information to safely and successfully offer yoga wall classes as a part of your program or personal practice.
Successful completion of the training and mentorship will lead to a Yoga-Align Level 1 Teaching Certification. Non-contact hours include observing 4 Wonderful Wall Yoga classes, assisting in 2 Wonderful Wall Yoga classes, and 4 hours of documents self-study (with yoga wall), will equate successful completion of the course. This course is open to certified yoga teachers with a minimum of 200-hour RYT, and a minimum of 6 months of teaching experience.

Wendy: MS, E-RYT, CPT, is a yoga and wellness entrepreneur. She is the owner and founder of Vayu Yoga®, an aerial yoga practice. She is originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, and has resided in Santa Clarita, California since 2001. Wendy has over 28 years of experience teaching dance, yoga, Pilates, fitness and somatic (mind-body) practices to students of all ages in private and public sectors. She is a certified personal trainer, holistic nutritionist, E-RYT200 and certified Pilates teacher. She has been a professor in the Kinesiology department at California State University, Northridge, since 2009, as well as the dance department at College of the Canyons. Wendy assists others in finding their true potential by consciously and consistently becoming better versions of themselves, each and every day.
